Goddess Varahi is the feminine form of Lord Varaha, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu in his boar form. She is one of the Saptamatrikas, the seven Shakti forms of the Mother Divine, and is also known by names such as Vajravarahi and Vaartali.
During the nine-day Varahi Navratri festival, we worship Goddess Varahi as a protector against all kinds of evil forces, negative energies, and enemies. According to Vedic texts, Goddess Varahi offers protection from diseases and bestows health and healing.
